We have a re-finished china hutch which came down from Allan's "aunt" Grace, who found it in someone's basement covered in green paint. We also have a dresser which has been in Allan's family longer than anyone can remember. It may not be as old as the Singer sewing machines Jane collected, including the treadle machine. Jane's collection includes Singer machines which date back over a century.
Recent purchases include a Lay-Z-Boy gliding recliner, book cases from an unfinished furniture store, and several sets of wire shelves. The shelves are the type with the split-sleeve adjustable height assembly system from various retailers. We also got a new... er, old phone in working condition.
